The assessment of the epidemiological situation in the Principality of Andorra has allowed the opening in phases of a number of activities so that some of the needs of the population can be met in accordance with the provisions of Law 5/2020, of April 18, of exceptional and urgent measures for the health emergency situation caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
Decree 22-04-2020 repealed the Decree 17-04-2020 of additional exceptional measures for the emergency situation caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and adopted additional exceptional measures consisting of the opening of some activities commercials, which we detailed in a previous news.
With the current Decree 30-04-2020, the Government of Andorra adopts a new exceptional additional measure consisting of the opening of other commercial activities. These commercial activities must comply with the health measures that have already been published by the Ministry of Health and must have an occupational risk prevention protocol relating to health measures.
Likewise, the Decree of 30-04-2020, establishes economic activities that are incorporated into the activities that can provide services at a distance or through e-commerce.
Notaries and Saigs can resume their activity, complying with the health measures published by the Ministry of Health.
Professional law firms ca also open regime and reduce their staff by a minimum of 50%.
The Decree 30-04-2020, and therefore the measures adopted in it, enters into force on Monday, May 4, 2020.
